6/7/22 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is mismatched and has only a partially intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. Comes with a period-correct cleaning rod and rubberized canvas sling. There is minor muzzle wear, some tiny freckling on the receiver, and spotty oxidation on the floor plate / trigger group. Noticeable thinning and heavy oxidation on the butt plate. The stock has noticeable dings, scratches, bruises throughout. A few more noticeable gouges here and there. Minty bore.
