1/20/22 – This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is mostly matching, but the cocking knob and firing pin are mismatched. The Imperial mum stamp on the receiver is mostly intact but it has been partially defaced with a small dent in the very center. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. There is next-to-no actual finish loss, but there is noticeable spotty oxidation on all of the metal parts. Overall, the stock is in very nice condition, but unfortunately someone deeply scratched their name into the underside (above the floor plate) and right side of the butt stock. Comes with an original cleaning rod. The bore is stone-mint.
