1/19/23 – Original and excellent condition. Anschutz JGA, DSM-34 training rifle chambered in .22 LR. Resembling the famous Mauser K98, this, single shot, bolt action rifle was introduced in the 1930’s and was used for training by various German government and para military organizations. This example features matching numbers including the bolt. Original cleaning rod and leather sling. Bluing rates about 95 – 98%. Bore is excellent and rates 9 of 10. Beautiful hardwood stock with “tiger stripping” grain on hand guard and butt stock. Shows honest use wear with a minor surface crack on the right side of the butt stock, however, it is not deep and the stock is solid and secure. “JGA” logo engraved on top of the breach and “Deutsche’s Sportmodell” on the right side of the chamber along with Crown N proofs. Smooth action and fully functional.
