12/1/23 – This is a nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. All matching with a completely intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. It comes with an original monopod and a matching-numbered dust cover. It also has the original cleaning rod and anti-aircraft sights. The gun has original bluing but some notable finish loss on the top of the receiver and barrel, with some oxidation and surface rust on top of the barrel and on the trigger group. The wood furniture has no major damage, but there are typical signs of wear throughout. Terrific bore. Comes with a scarce, original sling.
