5/23/22 – This is a very nice example of an AC 43 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a very nice 1943-dated waffen-proofed holster and two period-correct magazines. One is a rare “U” marked magazine (has non-matching post factory numbering) and the other is an un-marked magazine (the floor plate has been welded to the tube). The gun itself has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. Comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
