4/4/23 – This is an original set of 3 German Mother’s Cross medals. All three variations included: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. These were awarded for having children in recognition of the importance of motherhood in supporting and perpetuating a “strong Third Reich”. The 3rd Class (Bronze) was awarded for having 4 or more children, 2nd Class (Silver) was for six or more children, and 1st Class (Gold) was for eight or more children. All three examples are in great condition with original ribbons, except for the silver (2nd Class) which likely has a repro ribbon (condition seems too good to be true).
