4/11/23 – This is an original 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger from WW2. The dagger comes with an original scabbard and silver portepee. The blade is maker marked by F.W. Holler on one side, and is in near-excellent condition. Beautiful cross graining throughout, and some mild scabbard rub wear. There’s some mild speckling discoloration near the maker marking and along the edge in small areas. The hand guard and pommel are aluminum with typical surface patina and finish loss throughout. The bakelite handle has a tightly wrapped chord wiring and a few small hairline cracks near the pommel (but these are very minor). The portepee has mild fraying in areas along the rope, but the knot is tight and in great condition. The scabbard has surface patina throughout and discoloration along the sides, but no dents.
