4/22/24 – This is an early WW2 1st Model Luftwaffe dagger. The dagger is in near excellent overall condition with a very nice, shiny blade. The blade is unmarked and has a few light surface scratches and scabbard rub wear. There is a very minor ding along the edge near the tip. The original blue leather stopper at the base of the blade is still present. The hand guard and pommel both retain nice gold colored finish on the swastika logos. The leather handle has light surface wear but no major issues and a tightly wrapped chord. The scabbard has a few light scuffs but no major issues and is in great overall condition as well. The chain is original and excellent condition, with a OLC maker stamped clip on the end. A very nice, complete example from early WW2.
