5/20/24 – This is an original, early WW2 production 1st Model Luftwaffe Officer’s Dress Dagger. The dagger comes with an original scabbard and aluminum chain. The chain is in great condition and maker marked by OLC on the belt clip. Light patina throughout. The scabbard is excellent with all original blue stretched leather portions and clean metal fittings. The dagger blade is shiny with some mild surface scuffs and light scabbard rub wear. Maker stamped by PUMA on one side. The original leather stopper is still intact as well. The mobile swastika logos on the pommel and hand guard are excellent with original gold coloring throughout. Minimal patina on the handle, hand guard, and pommel. Nice, tightly wound chord on the handle and minimal handling wear. Overall an excellent example.
