3/22/22 – This is an original, early WW2 production 1st model Luftwaffe dress dagger. The dagger come with an original scabbard and chain hanger. The hanger clip is unmarked, and the chain has some mild surface oxidation but no major issues. The scabbard has nice leather with some mild surface wear. The metal fittings on the scabbard are all intact. The blade is shiny and in great overall condition. No signs of sharpening, nor any rust or pitting. There is a Luftwaffe proof stamp on one side of the blade, and no maker stamps. There’s some normal patina on the hand guard and pommel, as well as on the handle, but no major issues.
