11/20/23 – This is a post WW2 production commercial Mauser Luger pistol presentation case. The case comes with an original Mauser factory, post WW2 pistol manual, cleaning rod, and luger takedown tool. The pieces are all in excellent condition as shown. The case has an excellent exterior, but the interior has some light wear from use. The interior lid portion of the padding has come apart due to the glue weakening with age. The red velvet liner is still excellent and intact, but the foam underneath is starting to shed slightly, which is common. The photos show this separation with the glue residue visible on the case shell. Still a very nice display piece and fairly uncommon find.
