7/26/24 – This is a nice example of a Korean War era M1 Garand, produced by Harrington & Richardson in 1955. The finish rates at about 95% with minor thinning on the receiver, and a little bit of finish loss on the barrel. Nice stock with no major flaws. P in circle proof on wrist. No other markings on the stock. The upper hand guard shows a past repair but it is solid. Barrel is dated to January of 1955. Bore shows some frost with strong rifling and rates a strong 7 of 10. ME and TE both measure a 3. Internal parts are all SA stamped. Smooth action and fully functional.
