1/19/21 – This is a 1954 production Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand Rifle. The rifle is rated around 80% condition on the metal, as there’s some thinning of the finish on the barrel, as well as light edge wear on the receiver. The barrel has some very mild rust at the base where it meets the receiver. The barrel is DOD stamped and dated 1954. The stock is similarly DOD stamped. The wood is in good overall condition but there is one crack on the upper hand guard from where it meets the receiver, extending about 5 inches. The bore is 6.5/10 overall with some wear and residue throughout, which would likely clean out nicely. Strong grooves. Comes with a canvas sling as shown.
