7/18/23 – This is a very nice example of Fazakerley No 5 MK I Jungle Carbine issued to the British military in 1946. The receiver, bolt, and stock are matching; the magazine is mismatched. Proper British proofs throughout. The bluing appears to be an old arsenal-refinish. There is not much actual finish loss, just some minor scratchy wear on the magazine. No major damage to the wood furniture, just some minor bruising. Comes with a nice green canvas sling. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout. Import mark on the barrel.
