12/5/23 – This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 made at the end of the war in 1945. It is an all matching “b” block example with a “fnh” barrel making this a fairly rare variation, 1 of 5,000 produced. This example features a late-war cog hammer and phosphate small parts, typical of this variation. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine, though the grip panels do not match each other in color. The gun has retained approximately 95+% of its original finish as the pistol has a minty profile but some thinning on the front strap. Minty bore. The de-cocker is functional.
