9/19/22 – This is a nice example of an AC 45 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military at the end of the war, in 1945. It is entirely mismatched but has the proper “Eagle 359” Walther military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. There is noticeable thinning on the front strap and along the whole barrel. Generally, there is also minor wear around the high edges and small dots of oxidation throughout. A few light scratches here and there along both sides of the slide. Comes with black plastic grips (a few spots of wear on both sides) and a period-correct “jvd” magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
