07/01/2024 – For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in February of 1945. The rifle is in great condition overall. The finish on the receiver has become slightly worn with some finish loss throughout the metal parts. The bore is very bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion reads a 4 and the throat erosion a 3. The stock is in great condition but looks to be been replaced sometime after the war as there are no inspection stamps or proofs. There is some chattering on the right side of the stock from someone tapping the loaded En Bloc clips against the stock to straighten out the bullets before loading them into the rifle. The barrel is stamped for February of 1945. The parts list is included in the photo.
