7/6/23 – This is a late / end of WW2 production P.38 shoulder holster. The holster is stamped on the front leather with a faint police ink stamp which reads, “Geheime Staatspolizei” and has an outline of what looks like a Nazi Eagle logo. The back of the holster has “‘GOTHA’ Germany 29 June, 1945” lightly scratched into the leather. The leather has mild surface wear and light wrinkling and normal signs of use and aging throughout. The shoulder strap is original and completely intact despite some mild surface cracking in a few areas. No stitching issues with all original stitching and some metal hardware.
