6/25/24 – This is a P.38 that has a Mauser-made frame and barrel and an AC 45 Walther slide. The barrel and frame are matching and have “Waffen 135” Mauser military acceptance proofs. The locking block is numbered “66w”. The gun’s bluing rates about 92-93% with general high edge wear, a light streak on the left side of the slide, and tiny surface scratches on both sides of the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips and comes with a post-war P1 magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there are tiny pits throughout. De-cocker is not functional.
