6/15/23 – This is a nice example of an Enfield No 5 Mk 1 Jungle Carbine issued to the British military in 1945. All matching, including the stock, with the proper British military proofs. The metal parts have lost most of their original black painted enamel finish. There is obvious spotty wear and chipping in the finish throughout. Most of the remaining finish is on the receiver. No major damage to the wood furniture, but there are obvious signs of wear and use throughout. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
