6/15/23 – This is a nice example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout. The entire gun has been re-blued, and some of the small parts have been buffed. There is very little actual finish loss, but there are areas of pin-pricking under the bluing on the front strap and along both sides of the slide. One small spot of wear on the left side of the slide. Fitted with nice period-correct bakelite grips. Comes with one proper magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is spotty freckling and pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
