4/30/18 – This is an original 1944 dated P.38 holster. The holster is softshell style and in good condition with all original leather and stitching. There are a few flaws on the holster though, like the top of the belt loops are repaired and no longer attached by stitching. Also there appear to be some missing stitches on the magazine pouch, but the magazine pouch is still firmly attached to the body of leather. The interior leather is clean and overall this is a nice collectible holster priced to sell. The back leather is waffen proofed and bearskin oak leaf 9 maker stamped with a 1944 date.
