8/2/24 – This is a very nice example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. Includes shoulder holster and three magazines. Two Risdon mags and one, scarce, General Shaver mag. One mag was still loaded with 1942 dated cartridges. (Included) It is “United States Property” marked, has a cross-canon cartouche, and has the proper “FJA” inspection initials. Correct High Standard barrel. It has retained about 95-98% of its original parkerized finish. There is a minor scratch on the left side of the slide. Fitted with excellent reddish-brown plastic grips. The bore is shiny with great rifling. The holster has one torn portion of the retaining strap. Located in our Ohio office.
