8/25/23 – This is an excellent example of a Quality Hardware M1 Carbine. The serial number on the receiver dates it to 1944. Underwood barrel dated February of 1944. An adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added later, likely for use during the Korean War. The stock is Underwood marked and has a rack number on the right side of the butt stock. Standard Products marked recoil plate. The metal parts have retained nearly all of their parkerized finish with just some light spotty oxidation on the bayo lug. Overall, the wood furniture is nice, but there are some small gouges on the upper handguard. Mint bore. Comes with an original oiler, reproduction canvas sling, and an un-marked magazine.
