11/23/20 – This is an original 1944 softshell style P.38 holster from WW2. Maker stamped, waffen proofed, and dated on the back leather. The leather has discoloration and use wear throughout, as shown. The leather is completely in tact however with all “honest” wear. Saw definite use during the wear. The back leather belt loops are still attached, but there are some loose stitches on the bottom left belt loop attachment area. A few missing stitches on the lid attachment area, but this doesn’t affect how secure the holster is, nor the structural integrity.
