5/2/23 – This is an original 1944 dated soft-shell style P.38 holster from WW2. The holster is maker, date, waffen, and P.38 stamped on the back leather. All markings are easily visible. The leather is soft and pliable with normal aging and typical use wear throughout. The interior leather has some writing, as shown. The stitching is all original, but there’s a few missing stitches on the side flap and base of the belt loops, as shown in photos. This doesn’t affect functionality as all the leather is securely in place. See photos.
