12/21/22 – This is an original late WW2 production soft shell style P.38 holster. The holster is maker stamped and dated on the back leather, as well as P.38 stamped. The leather has normal pliability and typical signs of use wear and aging. The front leather has some scuffing and wrinkling, as well as a few small holes in the leather. This is likely from a previous embellishment as G.I.s often pinned medals to the front of their captured holsters. The stitching is all tight and original.
