7/18/17 – This is an original late WW2 production P.38 holster. The holster is softshell style, and dated 1944. The back of the holster is dated, maker stamped, and waffen WaA159 eagle proofed. There is also a P.38 stamp on the back leather. The leather is somewhat pliable, but completely in tact. There is some surface wear due to normal use and aging. The holster has an uncommon closure strap that goes from the bottom to top flap. The stitching is all tight and original.
