3/8/21 – This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military proofs. It also has a scarce “fnh” barrel. There are a couple of dings on the left side of the frame. To us, it looks like there used to be post-war markings that have been peened and touched up. The gun was likely arsenal-refinished after it was captured. It has retained about 97% of its finish. There is wear around the muzzle and front edges of the slide. Light spotty wear on the front strap. Some very light scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. De-cocker is functional. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling.
