1/14/22 – This is a matching and original Mauser K98 from 1944. Numbers matching throughout, including bands, bolt assembly, trigger assembly, receiver. Finish shows patina in several areas, and most of the actual bluing loss on the barrel, bands and trigger group. The stock shows its age but has no major issues, and features a sharp waffenamt on the right side. Buttplate is ‘gqm’ marked with ’44 date, and features notable corrosion/rough pitting. Comes with cleaning rod and sight hood. Very good bore with minor frost throughout.
