4/5/23 – This is a very nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in 1944. It is all matching and comes as a rig with a nice period-correct rubberized canvas holster (missing closure strap) and a period-correct but mismatched magazine. This particular gun also comes with an original signed capture document that lists a “Japanese Pistol” – serial number not listed. The gun itself has retained about 93-95% of its original finish. Generally, there is very minor wear around the high edges and hints of thinning on most of the parts. Some areas of very light spotty oxidation here an there. A small area of very minor pitting at the front right of the slide. Excellent matching-numbered wood grips. Mint bore.
