6/21/22 – This is an original 1944 dated M1911A1 holster. Maker stamped by Walsh on the back leather and dated as shown. Walsh is a somewhat uncommon maker. The front of the holster has a U.S. embellishment with the number “511” underneath; likely a unit number. No stitching issues and nice leather throughout. There’s some mild surface wrinkling and normal signs of aging but no significant issues.
