5/21/24 – This is a very nice example of an Australian Lithgow SMLE Mk III* Rifle, manufactured in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper military proofs. Import mark on the right side of the receiver. The stock is also matching and has crisp markings on the right side of the butt stock (dated 1944). The metal parts have retained about 90% of their original finish with general high edge wear. Excellent wood furniture. Stone-mint bore.
