9/3/21 – This is an original 1944 K98 bayonet with a matching numbered scabbard and a leather frog. The bayonet blade is serial numbered on one side and maker stamped / dated on the reverse. Excellent, semi-plumb colored finish throughout the blade and no signs of sharpening. The scabbard has some finish loss and dark brown patina throughout but no major dents or issues. The black leather frog is unmarked but also in great shape.
