5/1/24 – This is a pair of late WW2 production K98 ammo pouches. The pouches are both black pebble grain style leather and in great overall condition. The backside of each 3-set of pouches is maker stamped. The markings are hard to read due to the style of leather, but one clearly shows a 1944 date, while the other clearly shows the maker, “ACKVA LEDERWAREN”. Interestingly, one set has riveted “tops” or lids, and the other has stitched “tops” (see last photo). No notable flaws and all original stitching intact throughout.
