8/18/23 – This is a very nice example of an Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is “United States Property” marked, has a cross-canon cartouche on the right side of the frame, and has the proper “FJA” inspector initials. Flannery barrel. It has retained roughly 80-85% of its original parkerized finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one proper magazine. Minty bore.
