8/30/23 – This is a nice example of an Inland M1 Carbine. The serial number on the receiver dates it to 1944. No visible markings on the barrel. An adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added later. The entire gun has been refinished. There is almost no actual finish loss, just a couple of light scuffs on the barrel. Very nice wood stock, but there are a couple of small wood repairs and a noticeable chip around the sling well. Comes with a 30-rd magazine. The bore is mostly shiny with good rifling, but there is some pin-pricking around the muzzle end. There is some sort of metal inventory tag on the sling swivel.
