5/4/22 – This is a very nice example of a Finnish Mosin M39 made at the VKT Arsenal in 1944. The gun is all matching except for the floor plate, which is mismatched. Import mark on the barrel. The receiver is marked “VKT” and has the proper Finnish “SA” marking. No visible markings on the stock. Comes with an original cleaning rod. The gun has retained most of its finish, but there are some areas of pitting on the receiver. The stock is minty but there are some circular wood repairs on the butt stock. The bore has strong rifling with some areas of minor oxidation here and there.
