1/26/22 – This a very nice example of a Berlin-Lubecker G.43 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is entirely matching, including the stock. The bolt housing has matching electro-penciled numbering on the top. Proper waffen military proofs throughout. The left side of the receiver is dated 1944 and has the “duv” Berlin-Lubecker factory code. This particular gun also has a scarce red resin hand guard. Unfortunately, the stock has been duffle-cut, so the front portion of the stock and upper hand guard move freely. It comes with an original leather sling and one nice reproduction magazine. There is very little actual finish loss except for some minor wear around the muzzle and light scratches and handling marks on the barrel band and trigger guard. There is light spotty oxidation covering most of the metal parts. Some areas of significant oxidation on the butt plate. Overall, the stock is nice, but there is a small crack on the left side of the butt stock adjacent to the butt plate. One repaired crack on the left side of the stock where it is duffle-cut. There appears to a name scratched lightly into the right side of the butt stock. The bore has strong rifling, but there is spotty oxidation in the grooves.
