8/4/23 – This is an all-correct example of a Winchester M1 Garand. The serial number on the receiver dates it to about November of 1943. It has the correct Winchester-marked small parts and barrel. The stock has the proper WRA and cross canon military cartouches. The metal parts have retained about 90% of their finish with minor wear around the muzzle and on some of the high edges. Some minor thinning and dark discoloration on the floor plate. No major damage to the wood furniture, but there are obvious dings, dents, bruises, and scratches throughout. Comes with a period-correct green canvas sling. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout. Muzzle reading: 2. Throat reading: 1.
