3/22/23 – This is a nice example of an AC 43 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a minty 1940-dated holster, one “Eagle 359” proofed Walther magazine, and one jvd magazine. The gun itself has retained about 90% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, where there is also some brown patina, but there is also some minor wear on the high edges of the slide, around the muzzle, and on the left side of the barrel. Excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and just some minor freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
