8/29/23 – This is a very nice example of an AC 43 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a 1943-dated hard shell holster and a post-war magazine. The gun itself has retained about 92-93% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle, on the high edges of the slide, and minor thinning on the front strap. Some very light scratching on the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
