1/23/23 – This is an original 1943 dated USN issued shoulder holster. The holster is maker stamped on the back leather, USN BOYT 43. The front leather is US stamped, and there are no other markings. The holster shows surface wrinkling throughout the exterior as well as some spotty discoloration. The rivet in the bottom corner of the holster is missing. The interior line of stitching near the toe of this holster is also missing, which gives the holster a wider opening towards the bottom, which allows a variety of models to fit this holster. The leather shoulder strap has some surface cracking, wrinkling, and a small rip in the leather near the adjustment holes at the end of the strap. This doesn’t affect functionality however, and the strap is still completely intact.
