1/11/22 – This is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand that was re-worked following WW2. The receiver is an original Springfield example from 1943. Barrel is a Danish replacement. Stock is RIA marked and features the circle P on the wrist. Original finish is thinning on the receiver but in good condition, and shows wear on the gas tube. The wood stock is in great condition with no cracks or chips. Bore has good rifling but frost throughout and minor freckling. Muzzle reading is a 6, throat is a 2.
