6/1/20 – This is an original 1943 dated P.38 holster from the Buxton collection. The back of the holster has a light maker stamp “bdr” and “1943” date stamp. There is also a waffen eagle WaA86 military proof stamp. The holster is in very good shape with nice black leather that is somewhat soft and pliable, but overall very nice. There is no major issue or serious wear on this holster. Minor wrinkling on the lid. The stitching is all original and in tact, however, it appears the closure strap has been replaced. Clean interior, but no lift strap. Guaranteed original and authentic.
