12/27/23 – This is an original 1943 production P.38 holster. The holster is in good condition with some re-stitching on the belt loops. The rest of the stitching is original, however. The leather is soft and pliable with normal use wear. The back leather is maker, date, model, and waffen proof stamped. These markings are somewhat faint but still visible. The side flap interior leather has a unit marking of some kind as well.
