10/2/20 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” Nazi military proofs. It is fully functional, including the de-cocker. It has retained roughly 85% of its original bluing. Generally, there is muzzle wear and high edge wear throughout. There is spotty wear on the barrel, on the right side of the slide, and on the top plate. There is thinning on the front strap and on the tang. It has excellent grips and comes with one period-correct magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is light freckling in the grooves.
