3/17/21 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military proofs. This gun has a really interesting appearance. It has a dust-blue finished slide and a more typical blued finish on the frame and barrel, giving it sort of a dual tone finish. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is thinning on the front strap and minor wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. Some minor wear on the top of the barrel in the ejection port. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
