10/28/22 – This is a nice example of a Nazi K98 that was made in 1943 at the Waffen-Werke Brunn AG factory. All numbered metal parts, including the bands, bolt assembly, barrel and rear sight assembly. Unfortunately, the stock and handguard are mismatched (to each other and the rifle). The rifle shows some wear and patina on many of the metal surfaces but no corrosion and no “eye sores”. The bore is fairly shiny and has strong rifling, but there is some frost throughout. The stock has some dings and divots but no cracks. It also has a sharp Heer Army proof. Comes with sight hood and cleaning rod.
