8/13/24 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching with the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. Comes as a rig with an excellent 1943-dated holster and two “Waffen 135” proofed Mauser magazines. The entire gun has a dark, “Russian dipped” finish with virtually no signs of wear. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
